HUMTOR (Humidity sensor and Temperature sensor) Connection, Make sure that HUMTOR unit is connected to SMBx unit before troubleshooting:

  1. Open Inspector Embedded Webserver Configurations. 
  2. Look at SMBx connection status.
  3. After connecting the SMB unit, you will see “Connected” in SMB connection state field and if you see one of the following status:
    • HUMTOR Not Connected” in SMBx Temp field
    • HUMTOR_SHORT_CIRCUIT” in SMBx Humidity field
    • HUMTOR_OPEN_CIRCUIT” in SMBx Humidity field
    • HUMTOR_SHORT_GND” in SMBx Humidity field
    • HUMTOR_SHORT_VCC” in SMBx Humidity field
    • HUMTOR_UNKNOWN_FAILURE” in SMBx Humidity field
  1. Please do the following:
    • Replace the HUMTOR unit and check again.
    • if the issue still exists, you can replace the SMBx unit (MODSB4A010).


Air Quality Troubleshooting:

  1. Open Inspector Embedded Webserver Configurations.  
  2. Look at SMBx connection status.
  3. After connecting the SMB unit, you will see “Connected” in SMB connection state field and if you see one of the following status:
    • SLIGHT POLLUTE” in Air Quality field
    • POLLUTED” in Air Quality field
    • EXTREME POLLUTE” in Air Quality field
  1. You can check the HVAC system and clean it if needed.
  2. If you see “SENSOR FAILURE” in Air Quality field, please change the SMBx unit (MODSB4A010).


Humidity Troubleshooting:

  1. Open Inspector Embedded Webserver Configurations. 
  2. Look at SMBx connection status.
  3. After connecting the SMB unit, you will see “Connected” in SMB connection state field and if you see that the Air Humidity is too high, you can check the HVAC system and clean it if needed.
