These disturbances may impact system performance, cause equipment stress, or disrupt normal operation.
♦ Types of Event Disturbances
The system detects and analyzes several types of electrical disturbances, including:
- Voltage Dip
- Voltage Swell
- Interruption
- Rapid Voltage Change (RVC)
- Low Frequency
- High Frequency
- Total Harmonic Distortion (THD)
- Inrush Current
- Transient Events
♦ Purpose of Detection
- To identify abnormal operating conditions
