Non-tripping measurement is used to evaluate network parameters without causing any disturbance or interruption to the system.

The measurement process takes approximately 70 seconds and provides the following parameters:

Measured Parameters:

  • Loop Impedance
    • Represents the total impedance of the fault loop.
    • Used to evaluate fault current conditions.
  • Line Impedance
    • Represents the impedance of the supply line.
    • Indicates the quality of the electrical connection.
  • Earth Resistance
    • Represents the resistance between the system and earth.
    • Used to assess grounding effectiveness.

Measurement Behavior:

    • The measurement is performed without triggering protection devices.
    • No disconnection or interruption occurs during the test.
    • The system remains in normal operation throughout the measurement.
