Tripping mode
Tripping measurement is used to evaluate network parameters by applying a test that may momentarily affect the system.
The measurement process takes approximately 40 seconds and provides the following parameters:
Measured Parameters:
- Loop Impedance
- Earth Resistance
Measurement Behavior:
- The measurement may cause a temporary disturbance in the system.
- Under certain conditions, it may trigger protection devices (trip).
- This mode applies a stronger test signal compared to non-tripping mode.
Warning:
- This test may cause tripping of protection devices.
- It should be used with caution, especially in live systems.
