The Inspector range
Every Inspector runs the same quad-core measurement engine, the same nine protocols and the same sensor family. What changes is where it lives — and what it needs to see.

Permanent protection for a single critical asset. The widest measuring range in the family, with earth resistance and earth current built in.

The same instrument in a rugged case. A two-week survey produces evidence of exactly the same grade as a permanent installation.

AC and DC power quality inside the panel. For solar, battery storage, EV charging and DC distribution, with outputs that can act, not just report.

The same measurement board without a screen, fed 24 V from the panel it sits in. The one to specify when you are fitting many.

Environmental monitoring at volume. Temperature, humidity, air quality and vibration for server rooms, stores and warehouses.

All five models share the same quad-core processor, 16 GB storage expandable to 256 GB, dual Gigabit Ethernet, and the same protocol set: HTTP/HTTPS, Modbus, BACnet, DNP3, IEC 61850, MQTT, SNMP, IEC 62056 and email. Event detection follows IEC 61000-4-30 throughout, with five cycles captured before and after every event.
Shared by every model
Cortex-A72 at 1.5 GHz, 16 GB storage expandable to 256 GB, dual Gigabit Ethernet.
HTTP/HTTPS, Modbus, BACnet, DNP3, IEC 61850, MQTT, SNMP, IEC 62056 and email.
ATMP, HTC, THPAQ air quality and vibration, MMU motor current, SIB 4–20 mA, SMU sulphur.
IEC 61000-4-30 classification with five cycles captured before and after each event.
Power analyzer or power quality analyzer?
Both measure voltage, current and power. The difference is what happens between the averages: a power quality analyzer watches every cycle for disturbances, classifies them, and keeps the waveform as evidence.
| Power analyzer / energy logger | Power quality analyzer | |
|---|---|---|
| What it answers | How much power and energy is used, and how efficiently | Whether the supply stays within limits, and what happened when equipment tripped or failed |
| Typical readings | Voltage, current, kW, kVAR, kVA, power factor, kWh | All of those, plus dips, swells, interruptions, transients, harmonics, interharmonics, flicker and unbalance |
| How it records | Averages over fixed intervals | Continuously, with events detected and classified by IEC 61000-4-30 methods and the waveform captured around each one |
| Judged against | Energy and efficiency targets | EN 50160, IEEE 519, IEEE 1159, the ITIC and SEMI F47 curves |
| Use it for | Energy audits, sub-metering, efficiency projects | Unexplained trips, failed electronics, harmonic problems, UPS and generator checks, supply compliance |
Every Inspector except the Panel Mount Lite is a power quality analyzer: events are classified by IEC 61000-4-30 methods and each one stores five cycles before and after. Read how the limits work in EN 50160, IEEE 519 and voltage dips and sags.
Price
Three-phase power quality analyzers from the major brands typically sell for about US$8,000 to US$16,000 through US resellers, and flagship recorders go above US$20,000 (reseller listings checked October 2026). The instrument is only part of the cost: current probes, analysis software, annual calibration and the engineering time to install and remove it for every campaign often decide the total. See the full price breakdown.
Inspector is quoted per project, because the price depends on the model, the number of measurement points, the sensors and clamps, and whether you want the cloud dashboard and alerts. Tell an engineer what you need to measure and you get a quote for exactly that configuration.
Available in Egypt
Inspector is designed and built by PowerWadi in Sheikh Zayed, Giza. Hospitals, factories and data centres in Egypt buy directly from the manufacturer: an engineer in the same time zone helps choose the model and sensors, and quotes the configuration. Call +20 100 630 0862 or email contactus@powerwadi.com.
Outside Egypt, Inspector is supplied directly or through distribution partners in more than 30 countries.
Questions
An instrument that records whether the electricity supplied to equipment stays within limits, and what happened when it did not. Besides voltage, current, power and power factor, it detects and classifies dips, swells, interruptions, transients, harmonics, flicker and unbalance, and captures the waveform around each event.
A power analyzer (or energy logger) measures how much power and energy is used and how efficiently. A power quality analyzer also records disturbances on the supply — dips, transients, harmonics, flicker — and the waveform when they happen, so it can explain trips and failures. See the comparison.

Inspector V4 for permanent 24/7 monitoring of one critical asset; the Portable Inspector V4 for surveys and audits; Panel Mount Standard or Compact when you also need DC; Panel Mount Lite for environmental monitoring only. Or answer three questions in the model selector.
Yes, the Panel Mount Standard and Compact have a DC channel (0–630 V DC, sampled at 125 kSPS) for solar, battery storage, EV charging and DC distribution. Inspector V4 and the Portable measure AC.
A portable analyzer only sees what happens while it is connected; a permanent monitor catches the event that happens next month. How to choose.
Yes. Inspector is designed and built by PowerWadi in Sheikh Zayed, Giza, and Egyptian customers buy directly from the manufacturer. It is also supplied in more than 30 countries, directly or through distribution partners.
Certified & compliant
Built in Egypt. Deployed worldwide.
Inspector is installed by hospital groups, manufacturers and equipment vendors across the Middle East, Africa, Europe and Asia — and shipped through distributors who wanted something their competitors could not quote against.
